Sleeve length is measured from shoulder.

Length is measured from center back neck.

How to Measure

  • 1

    Chest

    Button up the shirt and lay it flat on a hard surface. Measure across the chest area of the shirt about an inch down from the underarm seam, and double that for the full chest measurement.

    Neck

    Spread out and flatten the collar, and measure the circumference from the center of the top button to the edge of the buttonhole.

  • 3

    Shoulder

    Measure straight across the back of the shirt, from one shoulder seam to the other.

  • 4

    Sleeve Length

    Measure from the top of the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve.

  • 5

    Length

    Measure straight down the back of the shirt, from the center of the neck seam to the bottom of the shirt’s hem.

How to Measure

    Chest

    Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor. The tape should be snug, but not too tight.

  • 2

    Arm

    With your arm bent slightly, measure from the base of the center back of your neck, along your shoulder, then over your elbow to your wrist bone.

Our Short Sleeve California has always been a versatile mainstay of our shirting roster, but this Deep Navy Crackle iteration takes this laid-back classic to a whole new level. Its soft and breathable organic cotton/linen blend is printed by way of a digital capture of traditional hand-dyed shibori techniques created exclusively for TS by Brooklyn-based artist Teresa Misagal of Dailola. Her artful intention is on full display in the eye-catching pattern, harkening back to the roots of this traditional Japanese artform while reimagining it for a modern age.

Teresa Misagal is one of the most talented and inspiring dye artists we’ve come across so we were absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to work with her when we set out to create this capsule. The Deep Navy Crackle iteration of this timeless TS staple is constructed from a lightweight blend of organic cotton and linen, making this a visually striking easy grab for spring all the way through summer.

  • 3.5-oz. 70% organic cotton, 30% linen.
  • Print designed by Dailola out of Brooklyn, NY.
  • Print developed with hand dye techniques and then turned into a digital print to capture the nuance of hand.
  • Washed for a soft lived in feel.
