How to Measure

  • 1

    Chest

Lay your sweater flat on a hard surface. Measure across the chest area about an inch down from the underarm seam, and double that for the full chest measurement.

  • 2

    Length

Measure straight down the back of the sweater, from the center of the neck seam to the bottom of the hem.

  • 3

    Sleeve Length

Measure from the top of the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve. Next, measure from the center back of the neck seam to the shoulder seam. Add these two values to get your sleeve measurements.

Crafted from buttery baby yak wool—a soft undercoat shed annually by yaks—The Lodge Sweater side-steps the harmful environmental impact of traditional goat cashmere while retaining a soft, luxurious hand feel. Plus, Baby Yak is a far sight more durable than cashmere, ensuring this versatile, cross-season layer stays in your wardrobe and out of the landfill, For The Long Haul.

Farmed in remote, high-elevation conditions by local herders for millennia, yaks shed their downy undercoat every year (this is what’s called “baby yak”) for us to gather up, weave into an incredibly soft jersey knit fabric and tailor to perfection. It’s stronger, more sustainable, and just as luxurious in the hand as cashmere, and most importantly, it requires no invasive or abusive treatment of the animals. This time around, we’ve added just a touch of conventional wool to achieve a rich donegal finish.

  • 97% baby yak wool, 3% wool.
  • Responsible fiber that comes from the downy undercoat of yaks that naturally sheds every year.
  • Super soft hand feel.
  • Jersey stitch construction throughout.
  • 2x2 rib construction on cuffs, bottom, and neck opening.
  • Dry clean only.
  • Made in China.

Perfect fall weight and easy to toss over a shirt.
