Kuroki Welterweight Slub Democratic Jean
The legendary Kuroki Mills, nestled in Ibara City, Okayama, has been milling some of the finest denim on the planet for over 70 years, utilizing the soft, natural water from the region, resulting in what they refer to as a “clear blue sky” hue from their indigo dying process. This welterweight denim is a fresh venture for them, culminating out of a will to create lightweight selvage that yields the rich, contrasty fades of traditional 15oz denim. The result? An artisanal, long-lasting jean that’s light enough for year-round wear. Made in the USA with our standard obsession for detail and tailored to perfection—we can’t wait to see how yours look five years down the line.
