Facing East Fall 2026

Where the Atlantic makes ground, and the people meet the sea, some things are slow to change.

“You are different every morning, rocky shore—” — Wilbert Snow

Along the Down East coast, work still follows the weather, the tides, and the seasons. Days move from labor by the sea to quiet hours of repose and conversation without fanfare.

Clothing is worn hard, mended when it can be, and kept long after it’s lost its newness. A wool sweater left by the door. A flannel softened by years of salt air. Jeans thinned at the knees from the same daily rituals.

This collection draws from that enduring way of life. From the scattered islands off the coast to the granite ledges above the shallows, from wind-worn houses and briny lobster pounds to the hard-scrabble roads between sea and forest, it is built for a cooling season with a sure footing and an eastward gaze.

“There may be in an island birth. A need unknown to inland men,—need for an armistice with the earth.” — Wilbert Snow

Hefty wool knits, hard wearing canvas, and sturdy shirting—pieces shaped by the demands of the coast and refined through generations of use. Not designed to stand out, but to settle in.

This is a love letter to the clothes that become part of a place. Worn without ceremony, mended when needed, and passed from one season to the next. Made in that same spirit: honest, dependable, and at home between sea and shore.
