Not all wool is created equal. That's why we use wool certified by the Responsible Wool Standard.
What is The Responsible Wool Standard?
A big part of making amazing products is creating something our customers are excited to wear every day and something with a story that they’re proud to be a part of. The Responsible Wool Standard is a certification that ensures the traceability of wool from farm to fiber—setting the standard for animal welfare, environmental responsibility and social equity at every stage of production.
Why We Use RWS-Certified Wool
As far as natural fibers go, wool leads the flock in terms of performance features (temperature regulation, moisture management, etc.), but it also boasts a ton of environmental benefits, including impressive garment longevity, recyclability, and low-impact upkeep. RWS-certified wool takes it a step further, making sure that the wool we use is sourced from suppliers who adhere to responsible land management practices while protecting the welfare of their sheep.
At the heart of it all is our commitment to holding ourselves to a higher standard when it comes to how our business impacts the planet. From our sweaters to merino staples, explore wool clothing designed with intention, and built to last a lifetime.
