Repair Or Replace Guarantee

Repairs

If one of your Taylor Stitch product(s) needs a repair, please let us know at hello@taylorstitch.com. In your email, include your name, order number, and the reason for repair. Final and most important step: attach at least one image of the affected area so that we can determine the best course of treatment. Upon receiving your repair request, we’ll provide you with a lead time for the repair.

Please note, all repair items need to be laundered and clean before you send them to us for a repair. Taylor Stitch reserves the right to charge a cleaning fee if required or return unclean items.

Replacements

If your Taylor Stitch product is unable to be repaired, we will gladly replace the garment if still in stock. Otherwise we can offer store credit or a return for the item during the life of the product.

Our Guarantee

We are dedicated to making clothing that is Responsibly Built For The Long Haul. To that end, we repair or replace any defect outside of normal wear and care for the life of the product.

Shipping

Free Domestic Shipping

All domestic U.S. orders for in-stock items are shipped free of charge.

Please allow up to two business days to fulfill and issue your tracking number (unless there is a red delayed date posted in the product description). Once you receive your tracking number, you should expect to receive your order within 2–5 business days.

Please note that while we will issue you a tracking number once we have fulfilled your order, you may not be able to track your package immediately. Tracking information will not appear until your package is scanned by the shipping carrier.

Orders placed for Workshop items require a shipping fee of $6. Workshop orders will ship during the estimated shipping period noted on the product page.

International Shipping

We ship anywhere outside the domestic U.S. with DHL Express Worldwide. DHL calculates shipping rates based on weight and destination. Rates are exclusive of taxes, duties, and customs fees. DHL also requires that the recipient is responsible for customs duties and taxes. We are not able to determine import taxes, as they depend on a number of factors including, but not limited to, country of shipping destination and product price.

We cannot guarantee delivery time as it depends on customs processing. All international packages are trackable once they are scanned by the shipping carrier.

Returns

To start the process, click the button in your Shipping or Delivery confirmation email or navigate here: https://returns.taylorstitch.com. You can return an item for a full refund or store credit within 21 days of the delivery date. More on that in our FAQs here. There are some exceptions.

We get that some items require a few try-ons—raw denim especially. We want you to be confident and comfortable wearing any Taylor Stitch garment, so please, make sure it’s the right fit. Just keep in mind that anything you return needs to be in re-sellable condition (new, with tags, unworn, unwashed, unaltered). If something funny happens with an item, please reach out to us. We’ll make it right.

Last Call items cannot be accepted for a return.

Return shipping is free within the continental U.S. If you’re returning from overseas, we ask that you cover the return shipping cost.

How to Measure

  • 1

Button or zip up your jacket and lay it flat on a hard surface. Measure across the chest area of the jacket about an inch down from the underarm seam, and double that for the full chest measurement.

  • 2

    Shoulder

Measure straight across the back of the jacket, from one shoulder seam to the other.

  • 3

    Sleeve Length

Measure from the top of the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. Next, measure from the center back of the neck seam to the shoulder seam. Add these two values to get your sleeve measurements.

  • 4

    Length

Measure straight down the back of the jacket, from the center of the neck seam to the bottom of the hem.

Our vintage-inspired trucker jacket returns in a texturally nuanced Japan-milled sashiko denim. Over time, the intricate indigo-dyed yarn work will fade beautifully, revealing unique-to-you character with every wear. Finished with heritage-inspired pleated detailing and durable double-needle felled stitching.

Crafted from a Japan-milled mid-weight denim in an intricate, texturally rich sashiko weave pattern. Over time, the pronounced highs and lows of the fabric will yield dimensional fades. A natural feature of indigo-dyed garments is crocking, where the dye can rub off on upholstery and lighter-colored clothing, so be mindful, wear often, wash when needed and watch it age with grace.

Textured Sashiko

Originating in Japan over 400 years ago, Sashiko stitching was used to bolster or repair homespun clothes, and over the years it has evolved into an artform all its own. In addition to its impressive durability, we employ sashiko for its beautiful, high-texture finish that develops incredible character as it wears in over time. Wear these sashiko garments and watch them age with grace.
