Our vintage-inspired trucker jacket returns in a texturally nuanced Japan-milled sashiko denim. Over time, the intricate indigo-dyed yarn work will fade beautifully, revealing unique-to-you character with every wear. Finished with heritage-inspired pleated detailing and durable double-needle felled stitching.
Crafted from a Japan-milled mid-weight denim in an intricate, texturally rich sashiko weave pattern. Over time, the pronounced highs and lows of the fabric will yield dimensional fades. A natural feature of indigo-dyed garments is crocking, where the dye can rub off on upholstery and lighter-colored clothing, so be mindful, wear often, wash when needed and watch it age with grace.

Originating in Japan over 400 years ago, Sashiko stitching was used to bolster or repair homespun clothes, and over the years it has evolved into an artform all its own. In addition to its impressive durability, we employ sashiko for its beautiful, high-texture finish that develops incredible character as it wears in over time. Wear these sashiko garments and watch them age with grace.
