The Maritime Shirt Jacket in Natural

$148 Pre-Sale $188 Regular

Estimated Shipping: 12/2 – 12/22

Description

Whether out on the water, or weathering a damp, dreary commute, we've got you covered with this do-it-all garment. Our handsomely cut take on an old standard can sub-in for your favorite sweater or sportcoat, but is still sturdier than even its finest vintage counterpart.

Material

For centuries lambswool has been used to outfit even the most extreme expeditioners. Both warm and water-resistant, the wool blend will absorb twice its weight in water before reaching its saturation point and on a rainy day at sea that's worth its weight in gold. The basket weave on this version adds an incognito texture and subtle style to your new cold weather companion.

The Fall Maritime Collection
Wild ForeverThe Maritime Shirt JacketThe manufacturing partner for this garment (ZhangjiaGang, China) is a global leader for their production of innovative, sustainable textiles and garments. For the last 25 years, this factory has made a name for themselves by receiving best-in-class certifications (e.g., GOTS, Bluesign and OEKO-TEX 100), treating 100% of their post-process greywater, recycling fabric scraps, boycotting harmful dyes and agents, and providing employees with full-package benefits — health coverage, free meals, and volunteer and vacation days. On top of all that, they are the very first factory that we have worked with in our ten years that can execute 22 stitches per inch, which is, in our opinion, the best representation of high-quality sewing.
