How to Measure

Waist
Lay your shorts flat and button if applicable. Measure along the center of the waistband from edge to edge, with the waist pulled flat but not stretched. Then, multiply this number by two.

Rise

Measure from the crotch seam straight up to the top of the front waistband.

Thigh

Measure straight across the leg about an inch down from the crotch. Then, multiply this number by two.

Leg Opening
Measure from one side of the leg opening to the other. Then, multiply this number by two.

Inseam

Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the shorts hem along the inseam.

Waist

Wrap a measuring tape around the narrowest part of your waist, typically an inch above your belly button. The tape should be snug, but still sit comfortably around your waist.

We’ve rounded out the package with handsome buttons, durable YKK hardware, and a pigment dyed finish for a well-worn look and feel.

Built from a sturdy organic cotton in a textured herringbone finish, then pigment dyed and washed for a worn-in look and feel. The Matlow is outfitted with a YKK zip fly, easy-entry slash front pockets, and our signature organic cotton map-print pocket bags, bringing a touch of refinement to a rugged warm weather bottom that’ll develop incredible character as the years stack up.
