How to Measure

  • 1

    Chest

Button or zip up your jacket and lay it flat on a hard surface. Measure across the chest area of the jacket about an inch down from the underarm seam, and double that for the full chest measurement.

  • 2

    Shoulder

Measure straight across the back of the jacket, from one shoulder seam to the other.

  • 3

    Sleeve Length

Measure from the top of the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. Next, measure from the center back of the neck seam to the shoulder seam. Add these two values to get your sleeve measurements.

  • 4

    Length

Measure straight down the back of the jacket, from the center of the neck seam to the bottom of the hem.

The original Decker Jacket was inspired by a rare vintage piece that our co-founder Michael Maher discovered in a seaside workshop on his family’s property in Maine. This new Navy Beach Cloth edition stays true to the spirit of its predecessor—including its classic good looks and rugged construction—but we’ve updated it with a cozy liner and some understated coloring to spice things up. Far from featherweight, The Decker is built to survive those notoriously frigid east coast winters—don’t get caught in the cold without it.

Our take on the classic Beach Cloth formula is built with a blend of cozy wool, soft cotton, and sturdy nylon. It’s got a burly, substantial texture that’s further bolstered by an 8-oz. poly/cotton lining, which gives the Decker some extra heft and keeps you warm and cozy no matter how harsh the weather gets. Two lower welt pockets are perfect for hand-warming (a chest pocket up top can store your phone, wallet, etc.) and snaps at the cuffs allow for quick fit adjustments.

  • 14-oz. 50% wool, 40% cotton, 10% nylon.
  • 8- oz. 65% polyester, 35% cotton lining.
  • Inspired by a century-old vintage piece found in a boat shed in Maine.
  • Single top welt pocket.
  • Two lower welt pockets.
  • Matte black YKK snaps.
  • Adjustable snap cuffs.
  • Dry clean only.
  • Made in China.
  • Model is 6'2", wearing a Medium.

This’ll keep you warm all winter long.
