Womens - Natural to Indigo Collection
Tucked between the rolling hills and family-owned vineyards of California’s Anderson Valley are 551 perfect acres. This land, aptly named Wild Acre, is owned by Shelter Co., an expedition outfitter best known for luxurious canvas tents and incredible camping experiences. It also served as the backdrop for our latest collection, Natural to Indigo.
We’ve long wanted to work with our pals at Shelter Co., but it wasn’t until we noticed the antiquing of their tents that inspiration truly struck. Natural fabrics antique by darkening over time while indigo, our all-time favorite, weathers in precisely the opposite direction. We decided it would be a fun exercise in design and patina to develop an entire collection of natural and indigo-dyed garments.
To help us shoot the collection, we trucked friends and colleagues to the Wild Acre property. A long day of photography and good times were planned and had. Between photos, wine was shared, grounds were explored, and dinner was roasted over open flame. It was tough living’, folks, but precisely the preamble these built-to-patina clothes deserve. Put them to good use.
Special thanks to Banshee Wines, Salt Point, Shelter Co., and all our wonderful friends who made this collection come together.
