Length is measured from center back neck.

How to Measure

  • 1

    Chest

    Button or zip up your jacket and lay it flat on a hard surface. Measure across the chest area of the jacket about an inch down from the underarm seam, and double that for the full chest measurement.

    Shoulder

    Measure straight across the back of the jacket, from one shoulder seam to the other.

  • 3

    Sleeve Length

    Measure from the top of the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. Next, measure from the center back of the neck seam to the shoulder seam. Add these two values to get your sleeve measurements.

    Length

    Measure straight down the back of the jacket, from the center of the neck seam to the bottom of the hem.

    Chest

    Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor. The tape should be snug, but not too tight.

  • 2

    Arm

    With your arm bent slightly, measure from the base of the center back of your neck, along your shoulder, then over your elbow to your wrist bone.

Thanks to its wind- and water-repellent waxed canvas shell and cozy cotton lining, the cold and the damp are no match for this beast of a jacket, and it comes equipped with a ton of storage for your essentials. We teamed up with the weatherproofing experts at Halley Stevensons to develop this waxed organic cotton canvas shell—their 150+ years of experience will come in handy next time a storm is brewing. We bulked up The Longshore with a soft organic cotton lining in the torso, plus some sturdy, smooth polyester in the sleeves. The entire jacket has been bar-tacked at stress points for improved durability, and we finished it off with a vintage-style Conmar zipper (complete with a storm flap for protection from the elements) and handsome TS-branded enamel snaps.

  • 5.5-oz. 100% waxed organic cotton canvas developed with Halley Stevensons.
  • 5-oz. 100% organic cotton lining.
  • Polyester sleeve lining.

  • Flap with snap closure on right chest pocket.
  • Left chest pocket is double-layered with an open top pocket and patch tool pocket.
