Description

We teamed up with the world-famous Kanata Hand Knits Inc. to create The Seawall Hand-Knit Sweater. Knitted from jumbo wool yarn, this one feels like you've wrapped yourself in a cozy blanket while offering the rustic good looks to take out on the town. Each of the one-of-a-kind pieces in this limited run (less than 100 units total) was knit by hand using traditional Cowichan techniques, resulting in the inimitable feel of a carefully crafted family heirloom, and the warmth to beat back the coldest winter weather.

Material

Simply put, there’s no replacement for wool. It’s warm, breathable, and because it’s highly durable and breaks down when discarded, it’s easy on the environment. The Seawall was built by hand in Canada using a custom-developed yarn pattern, resulting in a uniquely homespun look and feel—like a precious hand-me-down without the stains and snags. Because each of these cottage industry garments is knit by hand, expect variations from our typical sizing and fit.
