1969 Omega Speedmaster 145.022.69 Tropical$8,250
Thanks to Buzz Aldrin and the Apollo II mission, the Omega Speedmaster has earned the title; "the first watch to the moon". It just so happens that this 'moon watch' has spent most of its days under the sun. The 'tropical dial,' aptly named for its patina accrued in tropical climates, has aged to a nice chocolately hue; making this outlier a beautiful, yet very wearable timepiece. It is often said that all great watch collections should have at least one Speedy in the rotation and this beautiful patinated example will surely fit the bill.
