Repair Or Replace Guarantee
Repairs
If one of your Taylor Stitch product(s) needs a repair, please start by writing us to let us know at hello@taylorstitch.com. In your email please include your name, order number, and the reason for repair. Final and most important step: attach at least one image of the affected area so that we can determine the best course of treatment. Upon receiving your repair request, we’ll provide you with a lead time for repair.
Please note that per California State law, garments sent in for repair must be clean, so please launder your garment before to mailing it.
Replacements
If your Taylor Stitch product is unable to be repaired, we will gladly replace the garment if still in stock. Otherwise we can offer store credit or a return for the item during the life of the product.
Our Guarantee
We are dedicated to making clothing that is Responsibly Built For The Long Haul. To that end, we repair or replace any defect outside of normal wear and care for the life of the product.

Shipping
Free Domestic Shipping
All domestic U.S. orders for in-stock items are shipped free of charge.
Please allow two business days to fulfill and issue you a a tracking number (unless there is a red delayed date posted in the product description). Once you receive your tracking number, you should expect your package within 2–4 business days.
Please note that while we will issue you a tracking number once we have sent out your package, you may not be able to track your package immediately. You must wait until your package is scanned in by the Postal Service for tracking to activate.
Orders placed for Workshop items require a shipping fee of $6. These orders will ship during the estimated shipping period noted on the product page.
International Shipping
We ship anywhere outside the domestic US using DHL Express Worldwide. DHL calculates shipping rates based on weight and destination. Rates are exclusive of taxes, duties, and customs fees. DHL also requires that the recipient is responsible for customs duties and taxes. We are not able to determine import taxes, as they depend on a number of factors including but not limited to country of shipping destination and product price.
We cannot guarantee delivery time as it depends on how efficient your country’s customs agents are. All international packages are trackable once they are scanned in by the postman.
Returns
To start the process, click the button in your Shipping or Delivery confirmation email. You can return an item for a full refund or store credit within 21 days of having received it. More on that here. There are some exceptions, though.
We get that some items require a few try-ons—raw denim especially. We want you to be confident and comfortable wearing any Taylor Stitch garment, so please, make sure it’s the right fit. Just keep in mind that anything you return needs to be in re-sellable condition (unworn, unwashed, unaltered). If something funny happens with an item, just reach out to us. We’ll make it right.
Last Call items cannot be accepted for a return.
Return shipping is free within the continental US. If you’re returning from overseas, we ask that you cover that cost.
Description
Some look to calendars and weathermen to pinpoint a change in the seasons, but if you ask us, the cold season truly starts when we swap out our baseball cap for a classic knit beanie. Meet The Lodge Beanie; woven from incredibly soft baby yak wool. Easy to wear, hard to wear out, and uncompromisingly Responsible—The Lodge Beanie is how we ring in the season.
Material
We get it, cashmere is great. But did you know that the global demand for cashmere has created a goat-fueled ecological crisis, turning large swaths of land into barren wastes? While it may sound surprising, we think the answer to this issue lies in the humble yak. Farmed in remote, high elevation conditions by local herders for millenia, yaks shed their downy undercoat every year (this is what’s called “baby yak”) for us to gather up and weave into an incredibly soft jersey knit fabric. It’s stronger, more sustainable, and just as luxurious in the hand as cashmere, and most importantly, requires no invasive or abusive treatment to the animals. That’s why we’ve used baby yak for our Lodge lineup from day one. And we think you’ll love it right through to day one-thousand.

Every year, yaks shed their downy undercoat (called “baby yak”), which is stronger and every bit as soft as cashmere, leaving us to gather it up and weave it into a perfectly tailored style. The end result: An incredibly soft, warm and durable classic that you’ll feel good in—and good about.
