Art In The Age - Hog Wild Shirt

We met the folks from Art In The Age a few years back when they would bring libations to our gatherings at the shop. We quickly developed a mutual admiration for one another's projects. Earlier this year, they invited us to join them on a trip into the Philadelphia University's famous textile archives. The University has the oldest and most reputable textile design program in the United States. For shirting nerds, it gets no better. We were all going crazy, pulling out printed patterns from the early 1900's, each one as good as the next. After editing down our selections, we landed on this amazing print of hogs jumping fences made of screws. It is a truly vintage motif, but it scaled beautifully for shirting and looks very classic and modern when printed on navy poplin.
