Weekly Playlist: Texas Forever

When I’m walking to work, my headphones are generally pumping with upbeat songs featuring some badass female vocals. Nothing like a catchy tune with a total babe singer to remind me I can conquer my day and put a pep in my step as I cross the street. By the end of the day, unless of course I find myself at a dance party (which isn’t totally uncommon), I'm listening to a slower, slightly sad, country/bluegrass song that might just make me cry. Give me a banjo or harmonica and throw in words like, “coward,” “sins,” or “San Antone,” sung with a winy country twang and emotional moments become inevitable. So turn up the tunes, get sad then dance it off!
