Headed Up North - The Oregon Adventure Kit

The Autumnal Equinox has come and gone and I am starting to miss this time of year in the Northeast. The air's getting crisp and the leaves are changing color. These are things we simply don't get in the Bay. What's a man to do?

I decided it was time to head up North. Time for a taste of fresh air and to chase some fish. The chrome and rainbows are in the river and the spey rod is calling my name for some long overdue play time. Tonight, my brother and I fly into Bend, Oregon to meet a few buds for 5 days of camping and floating rafts down the Deschutes River. I'd be lying if I told you I wasn't excited.

I put together a few of the things I'll be taking on my trip. Included are some old standbys that always come along and some new things you may see coming down the pipe in the near future. Hopefully some fish tales accompanied with proving pictures will come out on the other side.

In The Kit (From Left to Right & Top to Bottom):

1. Bandana

2. My Adventure Hat

3. Trusty Old red Wing Boots

4. The Cadet Good Acre Vintner's Chore Pant

5. Sage Highlands Shirt

6 Harvest Tan Project Jacket

7. 7 Weight Spey Rod
