Paper to Product: Edition 237

While inspired by the silhouette and details of a classic chambray work shirt, this one isn't simply borrowed from the boys. We took notes from garment construction history and thoughtfully developed a modern woman's shirt from the ground up.

Too often, we ladies find it difficult to shop for shirts offering superior fabric quality and garment construction. It's easy to rationalize, “I guess I just don't fit anything” or "This style isn't meant for me,” but in reality, there really just isn’t much on the market. That’s all about to change.

With a fresh launch of women's product, we present you the Studio Chambray. This shirt sets the tone for Taylor Stitch's first women's Workshop capsule this Spring — Back to the Bay Collection.

The Studio Shirt in Everyday Chambray is designed without frills. It features a two-pocket flap design for you to utilize throughout your day, whether at work, the art studio, or about town. Unwavering in its details, it features single needle construction throughout and is cut from a Japanese milled, chambray cloth. Tonal stitching and cat-eye buttons were paired to let the fabric shine.

Tuck it in, or let it out. The fit is relaxed, yet tailored in all the right places. A daily uniform staple, the grey and blue hues in this shirt will only get brighter and better with wear and time.
