Edition 046. Bandana Shirts.

Put simply, this is our rock star shirt. Made for seizing the best a warm summer’s evening has to offer.

We made a some exclusively for our trip down to SXSW in Austin but we got so many emails we quickly rangled up some fabric to bring you guys a few.

Enjoy ‘em…

Upon our return from SXSW, we had the opportunity to meet up with two of California’s most rockstar young wine makers, Gavin Chanin (Chanin Wines) and John Raytek (Ceritas Wines).

Not unlike the Bloods and Cryps, Gavin and John represent Californias two top competing winemaking counties, Santa Barbara and Sonoma.

Both gents are viticultural vagrants, crusaders in pursuit of a more balanced approach to winemaking. Thanks to the accolades of Jancis Robinson and other acclaimed critics, their passion is no longer underground. Read the In Pursuit of Balance Manifesto

Like their wines,  these shirts are soft and approachable. Fun and colorful but balanced by our minimalistic approach to styling - we let the fabric do the talking on this one.

We raise a glass to these two winemakers and these two shirts. Imbibe!  Enjoy the night. Pursue your passion, and have fun doing it.

Many thanks to Matt Straus of Heirloom Cafe as well, whose restaurant is a bastion to the craft of winemaking.
