Paper to Product: Edition 224

It's hard to believe that this will be the fifth year of the Yosemite collection. Still there is not a camping trip, party or day that goes by without spotting someone in this shirt here in San Francisco.

We are thankful to all of you that own one and blown away by all of you that snag one of every color each year. In case you’re wondering, it still makes our day when you tell us that it's your absolute favorite shirt. Better still is seeing friends wearing their Yosemite from years ago that they still actively beat the hell out of – we love seeing quality in action.

If all this sounds like a goodbye letter, you can forget that. The Yosemite is back this year and is as great as it's ever been. Since year one, we’ve worked with the famed Portuguese mill that has made the chamois for more famous outdoor brands than you can cast a fly at over the past 80 years.

Since year one, we’ve always developed subtly unique colors that we sew up in our modern slim fit. The goal being to bring you fresh offerings that fit better and stand alone amongst the soft and fuzzy chamois sheep of the world.

More goodness is on its way this year in shades of true black and faded olive drab. We also worked closely with the mill to develop a yarn dyed black watch plaid that is sure to become an instant classic. Updates include our new and damn near unbreakable Japanese Urea buttons sewn on with true lockstitch construction.

If John Muir was alive right now, you can believe he’d haul down into the valley, bear the tourist traffic, steal wifi from the Ahwahnee and pick one of these up on the cheap from the Workshop this Thursday and have it shipped a little ways down the PCT just in time for the arrival of winter.
