Paper To Product: Edition 211

Maybe we've been close to wine country for too long, but we'd like to believe that we've done a fine job cellaring these classic madras prints. When moving around rolls of fabric recently, we uncovered a few bolts of a favorite Indian Madras that we developed a few years back.

Considering that temps around the country are now consistently in the 80's, this lightweight madras we've been holding onto is really wearing quite well right now. Light and airy, the fabric is as well suited for the heat as a glass of rosé. The color palette is subtle and rich, earthy even, like a glass of red burgundy.

Manufactured right here in San Francisco, the shirts certainly show a sense of place. Better still is the value. At $88, these short sleeves represent the best value in American made shirting and really ones of the best values in clothing anywhere, period. Like all good wine, when it's gone it's gone, so grab a shirt and salut!
