Paper to Product: Edition 207

Some shirts don't just inspire adventure, they are born in it, molded by it. For us, this particular fabric was not so much chosen as it was plundered. A dead stock lot that was limited in quantity, we hauled out all that we could carry.

We have always championed chambray for its ability to impart character and visual interest much deeper than the simple one-by-one weave seems capable of. In this instance, that perfect shade of antique white interwoven with the nautical blue and fog gray tells the tale of Sailor Twitch. It's a color found only in the white beards of well-traveled salts or within a bundle of old sails worn and torn from adventure.

With fabric milled in Japan and sewing along the Barbary Coast, this shirt is every bit as seaworthy as it looks. We shortened the sleeves to free your arms for hoisting sails and soaking up rays, and we added a button-through flap chest pocket to store your booty while beach combing.

Even though this shirt comes with a lot of history, feel free to write your own in it. Beware, with this shirt's soft and well-worn feel, your newfound treasure just might become your partner's plunder.
