Paper to Product: Edition 206.

A gingham that's well spoken, not loud. The iconic shirting pattern holds a special place in our hearts but left unchecked, it lacks the versatility we seek.

The traditional execution of gingham: large bold colored checks on a stark white ground is a bit boisterous for everyday wear. Not to mention, this traditional version of the pattern carries with it the serious emotional baggage of a long up-tight Anglophile upbringing!

In order to create a gingham that is as comfortable on the West Coast as it is on the East and versatile enough that you want to keep wearing it long after the sun has set - we tightened the check, developed a more subdued, sophisticated palette and softened the fabric.

The result is a shirt that's ideal for the warmer months but substantial enough for year round wear. It's comfortable at any occasion, ironed or wrinkled, tucked or untucked.
