Paper To Product : Melton Wool Bear Caps

The Californian in all of us can finally rejoice now that the bear caps are back. We went dark on them for most of last year while we went through an arduous development process to make them even better. We found a manufacturer in New York that could sew the bear on perfectly. This took quite a while. We had the felt bears laser cut for awesome detail. We made up some samples using the Italian melton wool we use for our maritime vest and shirt jacket (and loved it). We had custom antique brass clasps made and stamped out a whole bunch of Wickett and Craig leather straps. Lastly, we worked on a nice soft crown with a great roll to it. Things are feeling damn good. The making for a perfect ball cap.

So here they are. Ready to roll out to all you guys. Take them on all your great adventures in 2015.
