Paper to Product: Standard Issue Chino

Our new chinos are any thing but standard however we hope that by now you know it is standard procedure for us to over-deliver on our mission to make great basics.

Producing a better pant is simple: focus on fit, fabric and construction. In this particular case, the fabric is really exceptional. We worked with a mill in Spain to develop a burly mercerized (gives it amazing durability and minimizes shrinkage) twill that is brushed post-milling to give the fabric an incredible softness.

The twill is then dyed in what we believe to be the most essential and classic shades of blue, olive and khaki. We really agonized over the particular shades of each color because we know that if we got them perfect, as they are, they can live on for years to come.

The pants will be offered in our regular and slim fits. After listening to your feedback, we have made revisions to our slim fit and made the thigh, knee and leg opening slightly trimmer.

As always, our pants are cut and sewn in California by a small fatory that we have worked with for years.
