Edition 174: The Indigo Hooded Sweatshirt

The hooded sweatshirt was always meant to work in. Champion, originally a sweater mill, designed the first model for locals in upstate New York who labored outside or in unheated warehouses all winter.

We wanted to keep that soul but just give the staple a little refinement. Sure your workplace is probably heated but life moves us inside and outside all day long. And if you are like us, you view the weekend as a chance to get a little more comfortable not as an excuse to dress like a slouch.

And with that understood, we designed a more versatile hooded sweatshirt that was meant to throw over a button up and get to work in. Were not saying you could replace your blazer with this thing, but we are warning you that it will make all your other hoodies seem a bit childish.
