Edition 165: Summer Oxfords + Italian Knit Ties

We know. Summer shades of our Everyday Oxford are long overdue. Many of you have written to us revealing that our oxford has become your daily uniform, and that you desperately need more colors.

We have carefully chosen two new shades, brick and aqua, that are both perfect for summer and equally appropriate for year 'round wear. As always, our oxford is is still woven in the same burly rugby weight, making it one of the toughest everyday shirts you will ever own.

Now onto some newness. Lore has it that Clooney posted up at Lake Como for the views and easy living. Not true. It was more so that he could be living near one of Italy's longest running knit tie factories. This past spring we traveled to the Como area to have a glass of Nebbiolo with George and put together our first summer knit tie collection and tour the factory. Ok, not all true but whatever. We still had a good time staring at the snow capped Alps.

We kept it pretty basic with a red and navy ground but added some pops of accent color to create unique but classic neckwear pieces. These ties ride the line between slim and conservative and will have you looking perfectly hip for years to come.
