Ladies Club: Lili Cuzor
Few things are as expressive as plants and flowers. They have the ability to calm, brighten a day, evoke another time or place and bring you to your senses all in one. Be it one variety, two, a plant or a plethora of wild flowers; knowing your flora, or at least how to use it can up your game instantly and lower your stress. So, for our second Ladies Club "member" we bring you floral artist and Silverlake resident, Lili Cuzor, the breadth of whose skills are far reaching and as Lili explains why she does what she does, "It helps me stay connected to nature, and through nature, I find that I am connected to myself and thus connected to the greater collective whole. It's meditative, and rather calming; a quiet art form...and I'm really into quiet in general." You can call her into do your wedding, create impressive still lifes for a photo shoot, or hire her in a "plant subscription" sort of capacity where she can help even the blackest of thumbs get a little green.
Part of the fun here at "The Ladies Club" will be seeing how each of our gals, and their multitude of personalities incorporates TS into their existing wardrobe. So we headed down to LA and caught up with Lili at FUNKHAUS, a creative agency who she partners up with from time to time and happens to be one of her "plant subscription" holders. And with Acacia in hand, and warmer weather definitely feeling around the corner, she gave us a spring time glimpse into how her cool California-cum-France sensibility makes Taylor Stitch work.
